ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Swedish Production Symposium (SPS) is Sweden’s leading research conference on sustainable and competitive production. Held biennially, SPS is primarily organized by the Swedish Production Academy (SPA), in collaboration with the Swedish Product Development Academy (PDA).
In 2027, the 13th edition of SPS will be hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. As Sweden’s capital and a leading hub for research, innovation, and advanced manufacturing, Stockholm provides an ideal setting for discussions on the future of sustainable production and industrial development. We look forward to welcoming researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from Sweden and around the world to SPS 2027.

The overall theme of SPS 2027 is:
Engineering the Future, Innovating Industry for the Next Century
SPS 2027 brings together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore the technologies, methods, and partnerships that will shape the future of sustainable and competitive production. We welcome contributions addressing, but not limited to, the following topics:
